LAURENTIAN TRAVELLER

GRADES: 1-12

LESSONS: HALF or FULL DAY (NO-LESSON OPTION for grades 10+)

In 2023 the Laurentian Traveller features five outings to Laurentian hills including Mt Tremblant & La Reserve, plus three visits to Mt Blanc. Plus the Laurentian Traveller also visits Outaouais ski centres three times, including Mont Cascades, Mt Ste-Marie & Edelweiss. The itinerary includes an exceptional variety of terrain! Full-day lessons are included for all beginners and those in grades 1 through 4 or 5. For others, half-day lessons by Snowhawks Instructors focus on refinement of technique, including moguls, dynamic parallel and short radius for those at the expert skiing level. Fast-track-to-parallel program for beginners and novices. Snowboarders learn the basics as well as advanced skills such as carving, freestyle and snowboard park. Specialty groups offered include Ski & Snowboard Combo, Freestyle and Instructor-In-Training. Plenty of special events, such as tubing, synchro, a fun race, and our pizza party round out the program.

Instructor-In-Training (IIT)

For advanced skiers and snowboarders aged 14 and up, this group will prepare those interested in becoming nationally certified instructors. Many successful “graduates” are now teaching with Snowhawks, and at mountains across Canada.

Freestyle

Special freestyle groups for Laurentian Traveller skiers or snowboarders focus on skill and safety in the “park” and the “bumps”.
