The resort's base areas range in elevation from 1,300 to 2,120m altitude & include the villages of Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig & Pas de la Casa. Grandvalira is an Ikon ski pass resort. With no sales tax, Andorra is also renowned as a shopping destination! Sport Hotel 4* (Mar 17-23): Located 1,850 meters above sea level in front of the gondola lift, with direct access to the interconnected ski slopes of Grandvalira. Decorated in typical Andorra mountain style, with local stone and wood, the hotel features comfortable lounges in common areas, a bar and restaurant. Breakfast and dinner are buffet service featuring a variety of food styles, including local cuisine. Across the street at a sister hotel guests may book access to a luxurious spa measuring over 5,000 m2 and extending over 5 floors (spa access at additional cost). (NB – Mar 23 in Toulouse features Novotel Toulouse Centre Compans Caffarelli, a 4-star hotel, walking distance from the historic town centre.)
