INSTRUCTOR IN TRAINING

AGE: 14+

LESSONS: FULL-DAY

ABILITY: 

 

For advanced skiers and boarders aged 14 and up, this group will prepare those interested in becoming nationally certified instructors (CSIA & CASI). Half of the day will be used to develop our high end skills while the other half day will focus on the teaching progression from beginner to advanced. There will also be opportunity for apprentice teaching. As well, those who participate in a Snowhawks IIT program will be invited back by Snowhawks the following autumn to further prepare for their CSIA and CASI Level 1 certification course. Many successful “graduates” are now teaching with Snowhawks and at mountains across Canada and in fact around the globe!

The IIT group is available on the Blue Mountain Traveller “Raven Plus” program only.
