When completing the Snowhawks Raven registration form, you will be required to record each member(s) ski and/or snowboard ability level. Please refer to the following table to assist you.

Novice
Able to link wedge turns consistently.
Fast Track to Parallel
(intermediate)
Skis are apart -
Sometimes wedge.
Sometimes parallel.
Parallel
(advanced)
Makes skidded parallel turns comfortable on most terrain .
Expert
Dynamic parallel skier who likes challenging runs and a faster pace. Eager to learn moguls and short radius technique.
Freestyle
(Twin-tips recommended)
You're a fearless park skier who skis fast and lives for terrain parks.
Race Snowkids and Hawks Plus
Able to perform at expert level. Likes to ski fast and is eager to train through gates.
Instructor-In-Training
Blue Mountain Traveller
Age 14+
Self-confident and patient with solid technique. Enjoys learning and aspires to be an instructor.
Ski + Ride Combo
Wants to ski for 4 weeks, and ride for 4 weeks.

Beginner
First-time rider or has tried it before but still needs work on stopping and linking turns.
Novice
Consistently linking skidded turns. Able to stop on demand.
Intermediate
Consistently linking edged turns.
Advanced
Able to perform carved turns (edging with compression/extension) and basic maneuvers.
Expert
Confident rider who can carve, ride switch and perform short radius on any run, in all conditions.
Freestyle
Rides in the park most of the time. Can ride switch and attempts fakies, grabs and spins.
Instructor-In-Training
