| Laurentian Traveller
Program Features
Two visits to Mt Tremblant features plenty of mileage on the
best mountain around. Other Laurentian destinations are Mont St-Sauveur & Mont Blanc (twice) and our 3 Gatineau outings
feature Mt Ste-Marie – with the highest vertical in
the Outaouais! During half-day lessons Snowhawks Instructors
focus on refinement of technique, including moguls, dynamic
parallel and short radius for those at the expert skiing level. Fast-track-to-parallel program for beginners and novices. Snowboarders learn the basics as well as advanced skills
such as carving, freestyle and snowboard park. Specialty groups
offered include Ski & Snowboard Combo, Freestyle and Instructor-In-Training.
Our pizza party rounds out the program on week eight.
Instructor-In-Training
(IIT)
For advanced skiers and snowboarders aged 14 and up, this group will prepare those interested in becoming
nationally certified instructors. Many successful “graduates”
are now teaching with Snowhawks, and at mountains across Canada.
Freestyle
Special
freestyle groups for Laurentian Traveller skiers or snowboarders focus
on skill and safety in the “park” and the “bumps”.
