Instructor-In-Training (IIT)

Program Features

For advanced skiers and snowboarders aged 14 and up, this group will prepare those interested in becoming nationally-certified instructors. Half-day lessons will focus on refinement of advanced techniques, as well as learning to teach beginner through intermediate levels. There will also be some opportunity for apprentice teaching. As well, those who participate in a Snowhawks IIT group will be invited back by Snowhawks the following autumn to further prepare for the Level 1 instructor certification course. Many successful “graduates” are now teaching with Snowhawks, and at mountains across Canada.

The IIT group is available on either the Gatineau or Laurentian Traveller program, at a $50 surcharge.
